Isaac N. Dement, emigrating from West Virginia to Louisiana with his wife and four children, in two wagons, encamped on a mountain in Stone county, Ark., and while himself and two boys were fishing at the foot of the mountain a forest fire surronded the camp, destroying one wagon, all the household effects, and burning his wife and two children to death. Dement was badly burnt trying to rescue them.
