Thanks for the posting. I've gone round in circles with William's birth year. I have found conflicting information on him in both records and family history. To my best knowledge, William was born in the autumn of 1856. He continued to live with Mary for several census records before showing up in West virginia. Family letters to William's wife from the daughter of Henry Kissinger (another son of George and Mary) refers to Savina, William's wife as "Aunt" (William had already passed away). William's birth date would put him at just about 9 months from George Kissinger's death so I have no idea what to make about it. I have no idea who Frank was nor who his parents were. He seems to drop off the radar and I've no idea where he may have gone. William's remaining with Mary for the next 12 or 13 years seems to attest to a strong bond.

I don't think that this branch of Kissinger's were directly related to the other Kissinger's in Kentucky at that time. I do think that a link to the Mathias Kissinger lineage might be worth exploring since I'm fairly confident that this branch of Kissingers is not directly related to those in Eastern Pennsylvania.

I would welcome any input on this theory.

Thanks!
