THE PAOLI REPUBLICAN September 19,1888
Hugh NOBLITT, an old and highly respected citizen of Orange County died the latter part of last week with the flux. He was born in WEST VIRGINIA in 1814, coming to Orange County in 1822, where he lived until his death. He joined the Presbyterian church in 1849 and was elevated to a ruling elder in 1878. He was the father of 11 children.5 Children survive with his wife and two brothers. Reverend Harris of Mitchell preached the funeral.
