Dawson/Barrett - 1912 shooting incident in Vulcan

I am seeking information concerning an August 1912 incident in which a man, a woman and an unborn child were killed in a shootout in Vulcan, Mingo Co., W.Va. The deceased people were Barretts and the shooter was a Dawson. I am also curious to find out more information about Vulcan. Thanks for any assistance you might be able to offer on the incident, the families, whatever.
