Ferrell/Farrell's in Mingo/Logan County

No one seems to want to correspond with me concerning my great-grandfather, FAJ Farrell/Ferrell. He was born ca 1830 in Logan Co. to John Farrell and Jane Taylor. His first wife was Phoebe Hatfield and his second wife was Mary Victoria Chambers. I am related on Mary's side. John and Jane gave FAJ land which later was located in Matewan, Mingo Co. and which was deeded for the schools, the courthouse, etc. I have asked repeatedly from the Mingo Co. Gen. Society and no one seems to want to even discuss him. I have most of the info I need on him but cannot find out when he died. There does not seem to be any death certificate in WV, KY or OH. A distant cousin on my father's side said his father told him FAJ was buried in KY at Ransom and died about 1913. Is there anyone out there with the same family line who might be willing to help me locate this info? Or is there a researcher out there in the KY area of Ransom that can find the cemetery? I have a copy of a copy of a pic that he sent me with the name Ferrell on it but have no idea where the cemetery is located. I visited the area a few years ago and everyone I talked to in the area said they had no idea where a Ferrell was buried in Ransom. It might be an obscure cemetery that is no longer tended, but if someone knows of a researcher that can, PLEASE, PLEASE, let me know. I will gladly trade info with you on this line if you can help. Thanks. A great granddaughter desperate for closure!
