My gut feeling is that Alcinder J Piles (Pyles) born abt 1852 dau of James and Susan (Grimes?) Piles, is the Alcinda J Piles (Pyles) that married Noah Smith Alderman. On the 1880 census it is noted that she was divorced. Does anyone know who she was divorced from? It would appear that she married Alderman abt 1882 from the info given on the 1900 census.
From the census info, one could assume that James Piles (Pyles) was son of James Piles, Sr and Mary and that Jacob Piles was the father of James Piles, Sr.
Seeking info on Noah Smith Alderman, born abt 1857 in Va, now WV and married to Alcinder J Plyes born abt 1852.
