Hi,
My name is Myrtle Hacker, I have tried everything to find my granddad, mom is 88 years old, it is her dad. He was born Russell County, Va.. In 1880 he is 7 months old, in Johnson City, 1900 he is again with his parents 20 years old, 1910 he is in Ash County, NC. with his wife my grandmother and 5 of his 8 girls, they had 9 kids 8 girls and 1 boy, 1920, I find my grandmother with the youngest 4 girls, can not find granddad, mom's mom died when she was 11 she grew up in a all girls boarding school, in Va. in 1930 I find my granddad in Mercer County, West Va. as Bud Harless his real name was Martin A Harless, but everyone called him Bud, mom was told after she married, that he lived in Pocahontas, West Va. so her and daddy tried to find him, this would of been, abt. 1932-33, but no luck. Mom and her brother and 2 sisters were not born in 1910, I have been to West Va. can you help me? I have tried everything that I know to do.
