Hi - I am curious about the "Sharp" cemetery in Pocahontas Co WV. Looking for a Nancy Sharp Moore buried possibly with children: Mary Ann - 16 (in 1860)
Laura - 15 (in 1860)
Azariah -13 Male (in 1860)
probably died between 1860 and 1864
Nancy Sharp Moore possible wife of James M (Madison) Moore b. 1819-1820. Said to have been arrested as a southern sympathizer and sent to Rock Island Prison where he contracted some disease - but lived and was released - came home and his wife and some of his children had died of the same disease he had in prison.
Living children with lst wife: Saml M - 11 (in 1860) (married Sarah V Taylor)
T R Moore - 10 (married Rachel Nutter)
Jno R - 3 (married Mahala Lee Jones???
Fannie - 1 - married Groves
Laura married Rader
married 2nd Margaret Jones May 1864 (dau of John Jones and Catherine (maybe Donelson)
children Ellen (b. 1886) married Ward
Alexander Ashby (b. 1889) married Stella Boggess
married 3rd Nancy (Perkins??)
no children
lived Pocahontas Co then Nicholas Co and/or Braxton Co
possibly m. 1st Nancy Nottingham????? in Pocahontas co
