William Frye ERVINE, b. 1824, m. BURNER, m. KERR

William Frye Ervine (Irvin, Erwin, etc.) was born abt 1824. He married Mary Jane Burner (b. abt 1831) in 1849 in Pocahontas County. On the 1850 Pocahontas census William, Mary J., dau. Frances J. and Nancy Kerr are listed in the same household.

Mary Jane died sometime after her second daughter Amy Elizabeth Ervine was born abt 1851. I believe these were her only two children and that any more children William Frye Ervine had were with his second wife Elizabeth Kerr, b. abt 1825.

Does anyone have the marriage date for William and Elizabeth, or proof of the mother of his other children as seen on the 1860 Pocahontas census: Jno W. age 11, Preston 7, Geo. M.C. 4, Mary E. 3. Frances J. is 12 and Elizabeth A. is 9 on that census.

Any further information on this family would be much appreciated.
