Mr.Halbritter,
Thank you for your help. I am most interested right now in following the Turner family right now as that seems where I am stuck.
My maiden name is Turner. My dad was George and his dad was Albert Edward I. (referred to as Eddie Isaiah, Eddie spelled with ie and y depending on census ). His dad was James R. Turner married to Hannah Ellen Johnson. They also had 7 children James Fairfax, John W., William L, Benjamin M., Eddy I., Rachel E., And Henry A.
This is where I get stuck because I don't know who James R. Turners parents are. James is living in 1910 census at Kingwood, Preston County.
I'm just learning how to search genealogy so I hope this is what you need. I think its wonderful that you and your grandaughters have dedicated so much time tranferring all that info to computer. I know I sure appreciate what you have done since most of my immediate relatives on that side are gone except for one known distant cousin but she has the same info up to this point I do.
