Pam, 1st the disclaimer; I have no sources for any of the below. Think of it as clues where to look for the answers. My cousin R. Doyne Halbritter spent a lifetime researching Preston County West Virginia History, and before he passed away, he sent me boxes of information, mostly notes on a yellow tablet, or carbon copies of letters, few had sources. Myself and my granddaughters entered all that data onto Family Tree Maker, and most of it is probabely accurate, but again, I cite no sources.
BTW Numbers below are only for purpose of this e-mail, to keep track of family group and generations.
1. Elsey Lewis Turner, Sr 1781-1784 to 1886 married Jemima Jenkins 17779-1783 to 1877. They had 7 children.

1.3 Julian Caroline Turner, born 1818 married William Shoemaker
1.4 Elsey Lewis Turner II, born Oct 15 1820 married Elizabeth J Shackelford.
1.5 Elizabeth W Turner married William Coleman Wilson
1.6. Jemima Tabitha Turner born may 3 1830 married Jmaes Mitchell
1.7. Thomas Turner born 1837.
1.4 Elsey Lewis Turner II, born Oct 15, 1820 died Jul 27 1908, married Elizabeth J Shackelford born 1833-1836, died Dec 17 1910 died December 17 1910.
Both of them born in (West) Virginia and are buried in the Gordon Cemetery, Valley District, Preston County, West Virginia.

1.4.3 Henry Turner born June 20 1870 died Mar 6 1943 had three wives, Berte Deavers; Emma Devers and Julia Ann Groves.
1.4.4 Eddie Turner, born Jul 31 1876 died Nov 12 1878
1.4.5 John E Turner born jun 5 1888 and died 1890

Pearl was born Apr 27 195 in Masontown, Preston County
daughter of Bert Cress and Emma Myrtle Cale.
Benjamin is bureid in Mt Zion Cemetery at Rohr, Preston County.

1.4.1.5 Albert Edward Isaiah Turner, born May 1897 married Alice Belle Knisell she was the daughter of William F P Knisell and Ida J Sharp. At least two children:
