Joseph Hull Jenkins (/b. 1814 in Preston County, Virginia (now West Virginia) /d. after 1860/Not Available) and his wife, Julia Anne "Eliza" Colley (b. c.1818 in Virginia, /d. Not Available/Not Available)...were parents of Mary Catherine Jenkins (/b. 11-13-1839 in Libberty, Jackson County, Missouri /d. after 1907 in Oakland, Alemeda County, California). On 01-01-1861, Mary Catherine Jenkins married Joel Wheeler Pedrick in the town of Carroll, Wayne County, Nebraska. Mary Catherine appears to ahave been 21 or 22 years of age. It is not known where she was during the War between the States. She and Joel had several children, among them Anna Elizabeth Pedrick Sears, their youngest child (born at Payson, Adams County, Illinois in November of 1872). Anna Sears was Richard Pullen's GGM. It is known that Joel Pedrick served in the Union Army on "garrison" duty around Kansas City, Missouri for the duration of the war and was medically discharged during that conflict. Joseph and wife, Julia Anne Colley Jenkins had several children older than daughter, Mary Catherine. Joseph could have been born as early as 1810 but probably more nearly around 1820. Any infornation on this Jenkins family and information about them, would be most helpful. Thanks in advance /Richard R. Pullen/Fort Worth /txgmajor@pullenfamily.net .
