Thank you. I'm actually wondering if they are the same Christian. I saw the Christian Wilt in the census data in Preston County at the same time the Christian Wilt was with Caroline (or spelled by some census-takers as "Carline") in Garrett County Maryland). I'm wondering if two cousins had the same name. In 1880 he is fully listed with Caroline and family - if this was his 2nd marriage - wouldn't some of the children listed there be from his 1st wife?
I also found a Christian Wildt serving for Pennsylvania during the Civil War. There was also an elder Christian Wilt floating around the census. Thanks again.
