Christain Wilt, born 1820 married to Anna Maria born 1818 in Prussia, had the following children:
Sarah, born 1843
George Washington, born 1845
Martin L born 1846
David P born 1848
Frederick M born 1852
Still born daughter 20 jun 1854 (Aurora, Preston County)
Harriet A born 1855
Then a long break, including the Civil War, then after the war a Christain Wilt marries Caroline.
Even the youngest kids are teenagers.
I'd order the Pension records of the Christain Wilt in the Union Army from Pennsylvania and see who he lists as dependents.

And Oh Yes there was an Christain Wilt born 28 December 1804 in Aurora. Very likely an Uncle to Christain born 1820.
My cousin, R Doyne Halbritter, the Preston County Historian always said, "You can tell where a fellow was born in Preston County, because he's still there".
