Researching Andrew "Powie" Smith who was a printer and editor of a newspaper he is listed as living in Webster County for census years 1920-30, he is the son of Francis "Frank" and Margaret Duffy Smith .
Frank B. Smith father of Andrew Powie Smith was an attorney in Nicholas County. Frank Smiths obit of 1902 listed that his son "Powie" worked for the Nicholas Republican, Andrew had three known children Frank D. Smith Powhatan "Glades "and Bessie, his daughter Bessie was married to Charles McCray,Charles is listed as a school teacher in Webster County 1920-30.
Looking for any descendants of this line.
