I'm seeking information on Henry M. OWENS, his father, Isaac OWENS and their families. This is all I know about Henry: he was born abt. 1850 and married Mary J. ? who was born abt 1852 and died 1 May 1895. Together they had Ella (my ggrandmother), Ida, W. Fred, Edward and Francis.
Isaac was born abt. 1816 and married Christina ? who was born abt 1814 and died 10 Oct 1891. Together they had Eliza J. (who married Henry Kinnaird), Henry M. and Amey Louisa.
Most of them were born in VA and those that I have death dates for died in West Virginia. Someone suggested to me that they were probably in the part of VA that turned into W.Va. and said to check Wirt County for their births. I would deeply appreciate any info on this family or suggestions on how to find birth records in this area.
