I am looking for any info on Alexander Arbuckle or any of his children in Wood County, WV. Alex went to Wood County by 1850, and died there 1856/57 and is buried Bethel Church Cem aka Sharp's Graveyard. WIfe Matilda is buried there also.
There is a connection to Sharp's as well as some others buried there, just not sure where they come in.
Daughter Sophia instructed not to marry a certain George Locker. Strangely, daughter Matilda married him instead and he ended up killing her.
Sons Harvey and Isaac also there by 1850.
This family ties to family of Henry Harrison Harper and Ann Smitherman and supposedly was well off with a large far,
Harvey and Matilda inherited the farm and would like to know who got it after that.
