WWI records and identification
My grandfather, Douglas Hamilton Frame (b.1884 Chorlton, Manchester) served in WWI.I have two photos of him in uniform, in different regiments. One has been identified as Royal Garrison Artillery, but the other is a little more difficult to identify, perhaps a Scots regiment.Any clues? Also, I've learned that only about 40% of records survived WWII, and that these are only available by personal visit (or that of a researcher) to the PRO office in London.Does anyone know of available internet access to these records?I'd really like to know his war service details.K.Nauta
