Discovered your posting of last fall - In which you request information concerning roster listing by name - I presume that you have done a google search for the regiment 317th Engineers, which was a federal not state unit. In all probability you would only find that information in the Kentucky archives since most states kept rosters of their draftees/enlistees or a copy of the regimental history if one was published. Check the used book dealer websites www.abebooks.com, www.bookfinder.com
