Where to locate death record? WW1
Posted by: Lily (ID *****7064) Date: June 01, 2007 at 10:30:13

I am trying to locate any information on a great uncle.
Edmund Joseph Flynn of Taunton, Ma, born 4/30/1898.
father: Edmund = mother: Catherine

I found his draft registration card but I can't find any trace of him after that.
So I am wondering if anyone knows if a man was killed in the war -- where would his death record be found? Is it listed in the town he came from? Or is it filed in whatever place he was killed?

Of course, I'm not even sure he went to war but as I haven't found him on any census I've checked -- that could be the reason.
Thank you for reading this message and for any information you can pass along. Lily
