Ancestry is relatively straight forward....The primary thing to remember is that the writing interpretation can cause problems as well as mis-spellings....You are working with Edmund, also check Edmond and if you find nothing try for Ed and focus on a smaller time bracket. The middle initial may or maynot be there, its a plus if it is.

I generally do a general search then focus on the names that fit my scenario best....

I did a general Marriage lookup [on NEGHS] for marriages in MA between 1880-1910 None were found that had a child Edmond/edmund and parents named Ed and Catherine. The records are always being added to!
If you know her maiden name I could search for that.
