This should be posted on WWII forum but here is what I found. There is a possibilty your Wilson Jones was not returned for burial in OK but buried in France. Go the the American Battle Monuments Commission website where there is a online listing of all known overseas burials of American Servicemen for WWI, WWII, and Korean War. http://www.abmc.gov/home.php Click on WWII and in search box type "Jones Wilson A" (without the quotation marks or comma after Jones) Then click on the "GO" link on next result page and you will find his date of death, cemetery in France, Army Unit and Army Service Number 34924448. Now.... Go to the National Archives WWII records website: http://aad.archives.gov/aad/series-list.jsp?cat=WR26 then click on WWII Army Enlistment Records then on the next page in search box type 34925558 (the service # of the Wilson A. jones of the ABMC webpage) then click on the one search result. You will see he was living in Tulsa County, OK and enlisted in Shelby, MS on 12/28/1943. Born 1916 in MS. Just might be your Wilson Albert Jones. Most fits the information you posted on another board except for burial in OK and I don't know if 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division had paratroopers.
