Do you think that this would be put on someone's record who had left the army honorably (which he did in 1920 after 10+ years in the service) and then re-enlisted in 1927 for a final three year enlistment. i only have his final pay vouchers for his career since the military records were lost in a fire in 1973. but i have re-constructed the timeline of his career and the places he served from these records. there were also mentions of rank and specialty.
