You'll find a unit roster and short history of the 62nd Engineers, apparently printed in France in 1919, at this link:

There's a Jesse L. Stephenson, Co B, Commerce, Texas listed on page 19 of the roster. To get to it, click on "page 11" in the online reader, then click twice on the right arrow from that page (the interface isn't exactly intuitive). Jesse L Stephenson is also listed among promotions to sergeant on page 24--which you get to directly by clicking on "page 14" within the reader.

The unit history begins on page 1, which you get to by clicking on "page 2" of the reader, then twice on the right arrow.
