James McConnell was killed in action in Franquettes Farm France July 1918. He was awarded Fr Criix-de Guerre, DSC with palm. He was posthumously promoted to Frist Lieutenant, Infantry by the President. I am interested in any information on Lt. McConnell during his Army career, which was from 1899 to 1918.
