I am not related.
On ancestry.com I found an index card for his obituary in the ARchives, but not the actual obit.
On the England/Wales Nat'l Probate records there is:

Peter Alexander McLean
Probate date: 19 Aug 1943
Death: 26 Mar 1943, Glasgow Scotland
Registry: Llandudne
There must have been an obituary in the Scotland Registry, which I believe is/was the Newspape there. Have you posted on the Scotland genforum for a lookup?
