Hi William

Thank you so much for taking the time to do this lookup for me, one of the main things I was looking for was where the 9th Battlion theatre of war was. My grandfather told me he was in france during the war and said he fought in Ypres and Somme I can find no formal proof of this though but then I was told that there was 3 battles that took place at the somme and that also 2 battles at ypres and 3 at pachendale. It is important to me to find out just where he fought and where he was wounded.

I will carry on searching but thank you William once again for this great help.
