Ila: one more thing...Cris/Chrit Benson's name appears in the American Soldiers of the Great War; WA State Archives has the reocrd...he was a PVT, died of wounds; that info should be verification to the VA that he deserves a VA monument...refer to this NO:HSRPSGWCL162; it's in Vol 3
These volumes also have pictures of most of the Soldiers, but they are no alphabetized....
