Germans Impersonating Americans December 1944
Posted by: Randall Connell (ID *****0953) Date: December 09, 2007 at 19:15:46

I was wondering if anyone could tell us how it was possible to detect when Germans were acting like American soldiers during the Buldge campaign. One of my Uncles who was in the war once told me that the Germans had problems putting their insignia and rank patches in the correct places and that as an MP he was always on the watch for things like that. Thanks for any help.
