235th Engineers Battalion Company C

Looking for information on the 235th Engineers Battalion. My father served in company c of this outfit. I know that he was in Italy, according to his discharge papers he was in these battles, Rome Arno, Northern Appennines, and PO Valley. He was wounded on 10 December 1944. He doesn't remember where in Italy he was wounded. What division was his company attached to? Any there any books about the above Italian battles? Thanks for any help that anyone can give me.
