Ancestry's U.S. Veterans Gravesite database has the date Anthony Micheal Bombela entered th Army-Nov 7th 1942. He died in Uvalde County TX and the TX Death Index has name as Anthony Michele Bombela. His two sons were born in Bexar Co, the youngest born after his death. Their parents are listed as Mary M. Ortiz and Anthony Michelle Bombela in TX Birth Index. Wife is listed as Mary O. Bombela in Social Security Death Index and Veterans Burial Locator (Buried with Anthony) and Mary Bombela in TX Death Index in Bexar County. Ancestry as sons only in TX Birth Index database, no other records.
Try the Bexar County Veterans Office as I would think they handled the paperwork for Anthony's wife to be buried next to him 38 years later and should have copies of records to verify military service.
