3/4 CLY Sharpshooters Italy (WWII)

My grandad was involved in the first crossing of the River Biferno Italy. I am trying to find out more about this night, but unfortunately most reference books do not speak of the role of the County of London Yeomanry Sharpshooters in much depth rather involve them as part of the movements of the 7th Armoured Brigade 8th Army. I have a copy of the diary entry of this event, but would more info if possible.

Thanks
