I'm trying to find the family of PVT Harry W. Smith, ASN: 20630781, 39th Infantry Regiment, 9th Infantry Division. PVT Harry W. Smith died non-battle (DNB) on March 31, 1945.
PVT Smith entered the service from Detroit MI, on October 15, 1940.
He was born in 1922 and before entering the service he was living in Wayne County, MI.
PVT. Smith's family was living in Delhi Township, Ingham County, MI.
Father: Niro E. Smith (1890) construction worker
Mother: Pearl A. Smith (1892)
Brother: John H. Smith (1916)
Sister: Gladys J. Smith (1919)
Brother: Eugene Smith (1927)
PVT Smith is buried at the Netherlands American Cemetery and his grave is adopted. The adoptive family would like to get in touch with the Smith family.
