In your research you might find awards given to those who were born, entered the service from western Pennsylvania or returned to live there for the major part of their life. Soldiers and Sailors National Military Hall and Museum will recognize in the Joseph Dugan Hall of Valor those who received the Silver Star or higher award of valor. Contact them via their website.
