Hi Kathy, If you look at posted message #12800 you will find a form that you can fill out and send in it will give you details on how and where he was killed. Also check out posted message #16819 i found 25 enlistment records for a Charles Kohler, it will show what state he enlisted in and it will give you his serial number, which is very important when you are trying to get info.
