Hi Mark,

My father was in Co B 1st Battalion 17th Regiment 7th Infantry Division, he was in all of the battles Attu,Kiska,Kwajalein,Leyte and Okinawa. I have some info about the 7th during the battle for Okinawa, and i would be more than happy to send you what i have at no cost to you. Do you know if your uncle, who was in the 184th only fought on Okinawa? If so, i do have alot more info on the other battles. The 7th Division had 3 regiments, the 17th,32nd and 184th, they also had the 159th but they only fought on Attu. If you are interested in what i have please do get back with me at josie56@sbcglobal.net I was wounded while in Vietnam, and was sent to a hospital in Okinawa, when i got better i was able to visit the 7th Division cemetery, something that i will never forget.
