In the St. Cecilias Catholic Church Cemetery in Sheldon, Wyoming County, New York the story unfolds. I had information on my great grandparents, Alexander Michael Egloff and Mary Margaret Brauner. I already knew Mary's parents (Ferdinand Brauner and Elizabeth Meyer) and went on from there researching where they were buried. To my suprise, Elizabeth's brother, Peter (B. 10/16/1816 D. 8/27/1884) married Catherine Kirsch (B. abt 1813 D. 4/26/1895).
There are quite a few Kirsch's in that cemetery that must relate to her, also. Her parents are listed as Matthias Kirsch and Gertrude Sheerer. Matthias is not shown as being buried there, nor Gertrude.
Has anyone turned up anything on this Kirsch family?
