It is amazing how many Laymance/Lamance descendants continue to copy and post incorrect and undocumented Laymance/Lamance data to private and public web sites. This makes it especially difficult for the newer researchers who are depending on those who appear to be more experienced. This message is a request for all descendants to be responsible when posting data to their sites or other sites. Many of the sites show the wrong ancestor, wives listed with the same husband who are married to different persons of the same name, persons born in different years being recorded as one person, changing the surnames of unrelated persons and assigning them the surname of Laymance, and the list goes on and on. Please be considerate of your fellow researchers and they will be considerate of you.
