Hi,

I was wondering if you know more about George Harrison's family. My great-great grandfather was William Harrison, who was part of the Martin Handcart Co., and his father (who remained in England) was named George Harrison. William married Hannah Adams (whose mother's name was Elizabeth Payne) aboard the LDS ship "Caravan" in 1856. Together they had numerous children, including a son whose name was either "Richard George Harrison" or "George Harrison", depending on the source. Among their other children were Emma Elizabeth (my great grandmother), Hannah, Aaron, Heber, Alice, Charlotte, Sarah, Lucy, and Frances.

I have read about George Harrison and his Indian encounters, and have wondered if he might be a relative of mine. I was wondering if you might know your great-great grandfather's parents' names, or any other family information. It would be interesting to learn if we might be related!

Regards,

George Steinberg
