I don't know if you have checked the BLM land patents. An Andrew Gilchrist purchased land in Laramie County in January of 1883 (160 acres) and December 1883 (80 acres).
A William Stevenson purchased 158.6 acres of land in Laramie County December 1915. The BLM land patents will give you the Township, Range, Section information etc. that might help you locate where the ranches were. The website is WWW.Glorecords.blm.gov.
