Where did Elijah Lynam come from and how does he connect to the other Lynams. He was in Morristown, Shelby Co., Indiana in 1870. His wife was Mary Nugent b.1836. They were married March 20,1856. Their children were; Martha Jane b.1861, William M. b.1862, Thomas Mort b.1864, Lola Belle b.1866, Robert Franklin b. 1868 (he married Amanda Frances Hull &Delberta Robbins), Charles H. b.1870, Tress Ella b.1872.(Tress married a man named Otto Bridges and lived in Hancock Co., Indiana)and Idola Ann b.1874.(she married a Nelson)Elijah died in Feb. 1875. In 1880 the family is in Cowley Co., Kansas and his wife Mary is a widow. I have no idea where Elijah or Mary came from. Some reports say In.,some say Oh.,and still another says Delaware.
