William Wagstaff - Almy, Wyoming

am looking for information on a William Wagstaff that would have been in Almy Wyoming on or before December 1888. His wife Sarah gave birth to Emily Wagstaff December 1888 in Almy. Sarah and William would have met around 1887 in Utah. This was Sarah's second marriage and she had a son Fred Shaw born 1881 in England. Around 1890 Sarah and Emily went to England and Fred was left with a family in Woodruff Utah. I don't know what happened to William but family stories say he died in a mining accident.

I have a picture of William and on the bottom it has 'Provo, Springville, and Manti' I found these cities on a map of Utah. In the picture he looks to be in his early twenties.

If anything about this story sounds familar or if you know someplace I could try I would be grateful.
