Virginia's maiden name was Sears. She was born probably in Logan, Ky.Her parents are Clarence Baily Sears b. 28 Mar 1890 Ky and d. 30 Dec. 1978. and Bessie Eddings b. 8 Aug. 1896, d. 23 Aug 1977 probably Logan, Ky. Married 27 Dec. 1914, Logan, Ky.
Clarences parents were Matthew Sears b. 15 Jan 1856 Logan, Ky d. 31 Dec 1900 Logan. and Eller Norah Stratton b. 10 Aug 1861, Logan, d.4 Apr 1941 Logan, m. Apr. 1880 , Logan.no more on her.
Matthew Sears parents were Andrew Jackson Sears b. 1 Sept 1816, d. 27 Jan 1893 Logan, Ky and Mary Jane Wimpey b. 23 Feb 1819 d.29 Oct 1858, It appears she died in childbirth of her ninth child. There were two more wifes, Mary Patsy Davis ,and Elmira Dorris. The Sears in my info go back to 1649 in Taunton, Mass.
Andrew J. Sears parents were David Sears and Catherine Coffman. Ancestry takes the Coffman which the name was Coffin it seems back to 1250 in Alwington, Deven, England. There were too many names and dates to show here.
