Hello:

A friend of mine has purchased an old 1866 Winchester rifle that has the following inscription:
Clive Blumenthal
Laramie City
Wyoming Territory
May 16, 1869

He'd like to know more about this individual who apparently owned this rifle about 139 years ago. If anyone could help with any information on this Clive Blumenthal it would be much appreciated.
