Hi Glenda,
I find that There was a town by the name Black's Town, in Illinois, now a days it Bridge Port, Illinois, this is where the Black's Family came from, before Utah and Wyoming Territory.
Before Illinois, they came from North Carolina. The Old Home Stead is still being farmed by the king Family at Brigde Port, Ill.
Maybe you can help me? I find that (Mary Ann Selby) married (James Black). the year 1852, Patricia O. Groves, County Clerk in Lawrence County, State of Illinois, Certify the record of marriage to be the record I was looking for. I believe that (James Black) is The (Benjiman Jackson Black), that was massacred in Utah.
What I'm asking of you is can you get me a Photo Copy of the Census reports for 1850 and 1860 Lawrence County,Bridge Port. Illinois? The Black's Family. I Will pay with in reason, Thank you F.J.P.
P.S. Photo Copies only.
