Mabel Grace Goodrich was married to Charles Ellsworth Orchard who was born 24 February 1877 in Morning Sun, Iowa. In 1910, they were living in Lander, Wyoming, with three chilren: Beatrice, Robert W., and Charles B. They had only recently returned from Los Angeles, California, where the youngest child, Charles Burton Orchard, was born. They later moved to Denver where the family engaged in oil production and ranching.
