I am looking for Luman Barber's grave site as well as his second wife Anna (Shiffer)Barber. He was 87 years old and in the 1910 census in Unita co, Wyoming. :iving with them was Mary "Alice" Holmes,grandaughter. She was the daughter of Martha "Mattie" Barber and Henry Jefferson Holmes mentioned below. Luman's had another son and grandson in Unita co, Wyoming at one time, living together and their names were John L.Barber and Eugene Coon of Unita co, Wyoming.
Now Eugene Coon was the son of George Coon and Madora Barber. Madora (Barber) Cppn was the daughter of Luman Barber. George Coon and Madora Barber were married in Clinton co Iowa or Fillmore co Nebraska. George Coon and Madora Barber had their family in Fillmore county, Nebraska. Madora Barber died pretty early in life and George Coon raised the children in Fillmore co, Nebraska.
The people below are Harry W, Barber son of Luman Barber and Anna Shiffer. So is Martha "Mattie" (Barber) Holmes. .
The William and Irene Holmes mentioned below are William Wallace Holmes and Irene Haddix . William Holmes is the son of Martha "Mattie" (Barber) Holmes and Henry Jefferson Holmes.Henry Jefferson Holmes was the son of Thomas Armstrong Holmes.
Please contact me if you know anything about any of these people. I know nothing about Harry W. Barber. It says "Father" . Who's father is he and who was his wife?
Luman Barber and wife were living in Custer co , Nebraska but went to Unita co. Wyoming. The family of Luman Barber , along with his second wife Anna Shiffer and their children and some from his first marriage to Susan Alford/Elford, came to Fillmore co, Nebraska first. They emigrated from LaSalle co, Illinois. Luman Barber is the son of Charles Barber and Cynthia Endicott.
