NO so fast there.

He could be deceased. Not everybody who is deceased is on the SSDI. If a person is NOT collecting SS $$ and passes away, then the family or informant must notify SS.

It's not possible for him to be in Korean in the 50's.

This option is only available if you are the veteran or next of kin (surviving spouse that has not remarried, father, mother, son, daughter, sister, or brother).
