Since my posting, I was able to obtain only a Verification of Death Record on Frank because of the year of death. (Time sensitive-2000). The cause of death isn't even recorded on those. A volunteer made contact with the only Funeral Parlor in the area. They handled the arrangements and stated that his spouse insisted that no obituary be printed for him. Low and behold though, I located his spouses death in 2004 in Montana and was able to pull a lengthy obituary on her. I also located Frank in the 1920 & 1930 census under the old family name.
