Prussian/German Pioneers of Laramie, Albany, WY

I am looking for descendants of the Prussian/German Pioneer families who came to Laramie, Albany, WY, in the early days (1870's - 1890's). Many of these families came from the Prussian area of Germany around the Oder River and came directly to Wyoming from there.

My family came from the Alt Rudnitz and Alt Custrinchen, Konigsburg, Nuemark (East Brandenburg), Prussian area and are among the early pioneers who came to Laramie, Albany, WY. I have heard wonderful stories about many of these families since I was a child and have always wanted to see the stories of these Prussian/German pioneers told!

To me it is very important to tell their story and record this history for generations to come. These Germans played a part in the early settling of Laramie and Albany County and this history should be recorded.

I don't want to see this history disappear and plan to compile the information into a book preserving the history of this group for future generations to enjoy.

Please contact me if you are interested in seeing the history of your Prussian/German ancestors preserved!
